¡Mas vale tarde que nunca!. Perdonar que he estado un poco liada y no he podido publicar post estos últimos días. Hoy os voy a enseñar el look que llevé en Nochevieja. Fui sencilla, sin recargar el vestido con complementos porque ya de por sí con las lentejuelas era llamativo, sencillez igual a elegancia. El traje es de H&M, con un poco de suerte lo lográis comprar en rebajas. 

Espero que vuestro año haya comenzado con buen pie y que vaya cada vez a mejor. ¡Gracias a todos por leer este blog!

Better late than never! Forgive me for not posting anything these days, I've been a little busy. Today's post is going to be very simple, my New Year's dress. I wore it without reloading this garment with accessories as it is already flashy due to sequins and I don't want to stand out. Simple equal elegance. The dress is from H&M, maybe if you're lucky you'll find it on sale right now.

¡Preparate para deslumbrar!

Se aproxima el gran día y muchas aun sin saber que ponerse. Si amigos, ¡el fin de año está a la vuelta de la esquina!. Yo también sigo con mis dudas y probablemente decidiré que ponerme en el último momento, siempre me pasa. Pero una cosa tengo clara, no me gusta ir como el resto del mundo. El llegar a una fiesta y ver a todas con un traje igual me da incluso rabia. Es por ello que hoy vengo a aconsejaros algo distinto de lo que se está oyendo: no uséis lentejuelas, o no de la forma en que muchos van a hacerlo. Mi propuesta consiste en darles un lugar secundario en nuestro look combinándolas con encajes o transparencias o mejor aun, sustituirlas por pedrería y telas metalizadas. ¿Que os parece?. El efecto de brillar y destacar se consigue igual, ¡pero siendo al mismo tiempo original!. Si ya tenéis pensado usar las lentejuelas, ¡no os preocupéis y usarlas de una forma distinta!. Os pongo ejemplos también para que os inspiren. ¡Allá vamos! 

The big event of the year is approaching and many of you may still don't know what to wear. Yes, New Year's Eve is just around the corner!. I don't know also what I'm going to wear, and would probably decide it, as always, at the last minute. But in spite of that, I have one thing clear, I don't want to look the same as others. When I go to a party and see people wearing the same clothes than me, it makes me angry, and even more in New Year. That's why today, I'm going to try to help you by giving you and advice that is going to surprise you: don't use sequins, or not as everybody is going to do. My proposal is to give this items a secondary place in our looks combining them with lace or transparencies or even better, to replaced them with rhinestones and metallic fabrics. What do you think?. The effect achieved by these is the same than with sequins: you will shine and stand out as well, being unique at the same time!. But if you were planning to use sequins, don't worry but use them in a different way than others!. I'm going to show you some examples to inspire you. Let's go!

Ya viernes, ¡por fin!. El post de hoy va a ser muy sencillo y no os va a quitar casi tiempo. La propuesta consiste en un tipo muy especial de pulseras que he descubierto hace un par de días.

It is finally friday!. Today's post is gonna be short and simple so it won't take you a lot of time to read it.  My recommendation are a special type of bracelets that I've just discovered a couple of days ago.

Os preguntareis ¿a cuál de todas las que salían en la foto se referirá?. Pues bien, buscando diferentes tipos de accesorios he encontrado un estilo de pulseras que cubren el dorso de la mano. Un estilo hippie y bohemio que da un toque muy original a cualquier look. ¡Echales un vistazo y a ver que opinas!

Velvet

Y el tejido estrella de la temporada es....¡el terciopelo!

And the fabric of this season is... velvet!

En efecto chicas, el terciopelo es el tejido revelación de este invierno. Una tela muy agradable que poco a poco está ganando terreno en nuestros armarios. Si aun no te has decidido por una, este post te va a ayudar a hacerlo tranquila. Quizás la gran mayoría os imaginéis directamente una chaqueta de esta textura, pero se lleva de todas las formas que os podáis imaginar: en faldas, camisas, abalorios...¡hay de todo para elegir!. Para aquellas que sois menos atrevidas, os recomiendo empezar usándolo en americanas o en algún tipo de accesorio como los que os voy a enseñar hoy. Y para las atrevidas ¡usarlo en trajes y faldas!. ¡Veamos que os parecen!.

If you have not yet decided to buy one piece of it, this post is going to help you make your decision. Perhaps when you hear about this fabric, most of you would imagine a jacket of this texture, but there are  infinite ways of wearing it: in skirts, blouses, dresses ... you can choose whatever you like!. For those more traditional ones, I recommend you starting by wearing it on jackets or accessories such as those that I'm going to show you today. Como habéis podido comprobar hay de todo tipo de prendas. Una de las tendencias que quería remarcar, es el uso del terciopelo negro con bordados en dorado (como una de las fotos de las chaquetas). Es una nueva tendencia que poco a poco se está imponiendo así que, ¡toma nota si quieres ir a la última!. Mi recomendación es sin duda esta blusa de ZARA. No sabía si enseñárosla de lo mucho que me gusta para así tenerla solo yo jajaja Espero que os guste tanto como a mí, pero ¡que no la agotéis antes de que me la compre!. Los zapatos, también preciosos, son de MANGO diseñados por la bloggera Gala Gonzalez. ¡Espero que os gusten ambas cosas!

As you have seen there are different kinds of velvet clothes. One of the new trends that I wanted to enhance, is the black velvet embroidered in gold (like one of the pictures of jackets above), take a note of if you want to be updated!. My special recommendation for you today is this ZARA blouse. I was doubting whether to show it you or not as I'm in love of it. I hope I'll be still able to buy it!hahaha. The second thing are this shoes, also gorgeous, from MANGO, designed by the blogger Gala Gonzalez. Hope you like both of them as much as I do!
